About Our Region

Orrvale Primary School is located three kilometers east of Shepparton in the Goulburn Valley. Orrvale is considered a rural area taking in many orchards and some dairy farms providing a pleasant alternative to inner-town life.

The Goulburn Valley region is widely known as the Food Bowl of Australia due to the intensive horticultural, dairy and food processing industries which it supports.

Greater Shepparton has a population of 60,000 people and is a vibrant place to live and work.  Indigenous Australians comprise 10 per cent of the population and 52 nationalities are represented in the diverse mix of people that have settled in the region.
